A program with a social impact

Our growers follow the technological production guidelines developed by the Costa Rican scientists. The papaya "Híbrido Pococí"  is a medium sized fruit between 900 and 1800 grams, with an average weight of 1,5 kg. The external colour is yellow, with lots of little green freckles. Brix ranges from 10 to 14º.

The postharvest process is carried out by a solid and specialized labour chain.

eicsa has not only supported the production, the postharvest process, and developed a market for these small growers, but also keeps watching over the selection for the best product for export, guaranteeing the quality of this unique papaya.
