Real Estate Board
The university and the contracting cantons have a joint board of experts that advises the University Council and the contracting cantons on real estate transactions of relevance to the university鈥檚 strategy and costs, and ensures that the interests of the cantons and the university are aligned.
Tasks
According to the valid agreement on real estate at the 91制片厂, the Real Estate Board has the following particular tasks:
a) to maintain a comprehensive overview of real estate matters concerning the university;
b) to assess and check the plausibility of applications, reports and other information submitted to governments and the University Council;
c) to review the university’s property portfolio (rental and ownership);
d) to draw up recommendations for the university and the contracting cantons on strategic real estate issues;
e) to maintain a regular exchange of information with the Real Estate Committee of the University Council;
f) to report annually to the Real Estate Committee, the University Council and the Steering Committee.
In the performance of its duties, the Real Estate Board takes the financial possibilities and other overall interests of the contracting cantons and the university into account.
